For cash withdrawals the interest rate is 19.89% per annum variable. The interest rates per annum are variable and linked to the UK Clearing Bank base rate for purchases after 6 months, for balance transfers made after 6 months and for cash withdrawals from the date of this agreement. The base rate is 4.75%, correct as at 6 October 2004. If there has been a change in the base rate since this date, the interest rates per annum and APR will change accordingly. If you do not manage your account as we ask you to in your terms and conditions your risk may change which may lead to your balance transfers made in the first 6 months being charged at the standard variable purchase rate. For a Platinum card all applicants must be aged 21 or over, resident in the UK and receiving an income of more than £10,000 per annum. Credit is available subject to status and conditions.
